With over ten years of expertise in the field of modernization and manufacturing of steel furniture, CRYSTAL INNOVATIONS has now broadened the horizons into a state-of-the-art furniture product range of combined Steel, Timber and Glass furniture with the brand name of �Tulip� aiming to provide innovative products to the Sri Lankan furniture customers.

Crystal Innovations has started to grow swiftly due to the excellent quality of the products that offers to the customers. The brand name �Tulip� is very popular among the community due to its material mix, simplicity, appearance, durability, finish, competitive price, strength, light weight, smooth curving, customized product range, flexibility and easiness of transport from one location to another.

We use high quality Steel, Wood and tempered Glass to manufacture our furniture range. All steel components are originally sand blasted and painted with a primer coat, once again painted with a filler coat and finally the top coat is painted with the marine colour paint desired by the customers. On top of that, a clear lacquer coat is applied to sustain the furniture from scratches and extreme weather conditions. We provide our customers a 25 years� warranty for the main frame.

Message from Board of Directors

In 2021, the Covid-19 pandemic was still continually widespread and has severely and constantly impacted on world and domestic economy since 2020 including to construction industry that was consequently affected by the government�s preventive measures to manage the new wave of Covid-19 pandemic.In July 2021, the order of the temporary closure of a construction workers camps announced and caused the suspension of the Company�s construction sites. Then, although the order of the closure of workers camp was released and allowed to start the construction, the Company has to mobilize manpower ad resources to catch up the progress as schedule plan, affecting the operation cost was eventually higher.

The Company realized the circumstances and improvised our operation procedure according to the situation and managed project cost to be in line with the plan including to prepare the preventive measures to mitigate and lessen the possible impacts of the pandemic such as Work from Home, Bubble & Seal. And reminded our employees to adapt to the New Normal, following the Company and the government�s measures both during work hours and daily life as well as the encouragement of Covid-19 vaccination in employees and workers.

Environment

The Environmental Clearance [EC] process for majority of projects will comprise of a maximum of four stages � Screening, Scoping, Public Consultation & Appraisal. EC for developmental projects has been made mandatory by the Ministry of Environment & Forest through its Notification issued on 27.01.
